  Financial Analyst - Quantitative Liquidity Risk

  I currently work on monthly liquidity stress testing and analyses. I also build reporting packages including PowerBI dashboards, and present results directly to senior leadership. My favorite project to date was developing a deposit cost modeling framework to identify high-cost deposit segments, enabling strategic decisions that optimized funding costs and improved business profitability. Additionally, leveraging both SQL and Python, I work on recalibrating stress testing assumptions using historical data, improving accuracy and risk responsiveness.

  I developed and optimized our credit risk model utilizing machine learning (Logistic Regression, KNN, Random Forest) to assess new risk metrics. I led efforts to streamline our loan underwriting process by applying feature selection methods (correlation analysis, VIF analysis, hypothesis testing) that cut underwriting time by 40%. I also collaborated with product management to build revenue, banking, and cohort analysis reports for a new client-facing analytics product.

  I owned and built the DID (Direct Inward Dialing) database, a web portal using Django and PostgreSQL. This scalable solution enabled number inventory management and eliminated communication bottlenecks. I also built a user interface for MS Teams automation, reducing provisioning time from 10 minutes to just 20 seconds — significantly improving operational efficiency.
